Big News for Brides!

(NORWALK, CT – FEB 2022) If you have ever looked into restoring or preserving your bridal gown or veil, you have likely heard of Orange Restoration Labs. They have been known as the leader in cleaning and restoring all types of wedding gowns, veils and other keepsakes. Run by Sally and Rogers Conant for over 30 years, it has become the go-to business for those in need of someone they could truly trust with their precious gowns, veils, christening outfits and beyond.

Orange Restoration Labs has been recognized by The Knot, Wedding Wire, The Wall Street Journal and various local publications as the trusted expert when it comes to cleaning & restoring. Year after year they’ve been awarded The Knot’s Best of Weddings as well as the Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Award. And over the years, they have become the go-to for bridal shops, brides, dry cleaners and beyond all over the country.

After 32 years, Sally and Rogers have decided to sell Orange Restorations Labs. They didn’t want to hand their beloved business over to just anyone – they were determined to find the right team that could not only take care of their clients with the level of expertise and care they are used to, but also to take care of their dedicated staff.

The search for the new owners led to Michael Astorino and Ernst J. Eloi. Michael and Ernst have been working together in the dry cleaning and clothing care business for 30 years at Fabricare Cleaners.  Michael took over the family business and Ernst has been his right-hand man in the cleaning and production department. Ernst is recognized as one of the top technicians in the dry cleaning industry and has helped Fabricare win many awards throughout the years.

The new owners are looking forward to building the business by offering their additional expertise and services to cleaners, bridal shops, and tailoring shops. Current clients will continue to receive the same level of personal care, scientific expertise in cleaning and customer service that goes beyond the norm. In addition to offering even more services than ever before, Michael and Ernst plan to move Orange Restoration from their plant in Derby to Fabricare’s plant in Norwalk where there is capacity as well as more variety of cleaning equipment.

The Orange Restoration Lab team is excited to look to the future of restoring and preserving the most precious pieces and heirlooms for brides and grooms all around the country.
